Gene Harvey Student Awards Dinner
The Cicero-Plank Road Chamber of Commerce and the North Syracuse Education Foundation were pleased to host the Gene Harvey Student Awards Dinner April 12th, 2023.
Eugene “Gene” Harvey (January 17, 1923 — May 25, 2009) Gene was an ardent SU sports fan and a long-time member of the Orange Pack and the Ernie Davis Club. He championed the Keystone Awards banquets which honored many notable SU football players. In 2010, the Plank Road Chamber of Commerce renamed the High School Student Awards Banquet to the “Gene Harvey Student Awards Banquet”.
