May 21, 2025 Luncheon Recap
A big thank you to Rob O’Connor from ELITE Gaming for joining us as our guest speaker at this month’s Chamber Luncheon!
Rob is a lifelong Syracuse resident who’s spent decades giving back to the community—first through his family’s incredible work with the Syracuse Nationals car show, which raised over $1.75 million for local charities, and now through his newest ventures: ELITE Gaming and BrainPlay.
Based in downtown Syracuse, ELITE Gaming is making a real impact by leading the New York State High School Esports League and helping students connect with STEM careers and higher education. With partnerships that include Syracuse University, Herkimer College, and many others, they’re bringing game development, project-based learning, and emerging tech into classrooms across our region.
We’re grateful to Rob for sharing his story and inspiring us with the work he’s doing for today’s youth!
🏆 We’re excited to welcome our newest Chamber member, Fleet Feet Syracuse! Sara Mastronardi accepted the new member certificate on their behalf—we’re so glad to have you as part of the Cicero Plank Road Chamber family!
🎳 Then, we had the pleasure of presenting a check to Sue Jordan and Wesley Sweetman from The CanTeen with the funds raised during our Bowl-a-thon on May 8th. Thank you to everyone who came out to support such an important cause!
This is what community is all about. 💙
